Dinner time! You click through the channels on the TV and cheap dr dre beats stumble upon a family that is sitting at a beautifully arranged dinner table complete with glasses of water and I might also add glasses of milk. There are silver utensils placed just so at the side of the dinner plate along with a rolled up napkin, and the family appears to be waiting in anticipation as a woman briskly walks in with a perfectly cooked roast beef on a silver platter, and then you realize that you just stopped to watch Leave It to Beaver! And June Cleaver is the star of the evening! And your thinking "Be for real!! " The day that happens in my home is the day I am surrounded by a heavenly host of angels serving up the last great feast on earth! Family lifestyle today resembles nothing like the 30's, 40's, or 50's. It is chaotic and a small triumph to have two family members sitting at a table, let alone the whole family for an entire dinner? Today both the husband and the wife work outside of the home in order to provide for their family. Dinner time is pretty much the last big event of the day and neither one wants to stand over a hot stove preparing a 5 course meal. So how does the average family today get together for dinner? I'll give you an example: Mom calls Dad from her cell phone on her way out the door of her office and asks him what do you want for dinner? Dad says, "I don't know what you do want? " She replies, "I don't know, I don't feel like cooking do you? ". She hears a resounding "NO". So one of them agrees to pick up something for dinner on the way home! They rush in the house grab something out moncler sito ufficiale of the bag (usually fast food ) and everyone goes to their perspective corners of the house! And Walla! Dinner is completed! I'm not knocking the modern family at all because many a times this was our house too! Life is very different today than it was 30 or 40 years ago, and the family lifestyle is too, but think about the last time you gathered together for a family dinner; Was it at Thanksgiving or maybe Christmas?, what was it like? I can tell you that in our house we all sat down together at the same time and who would have thought, we actually talked! we also laughed and inquired into each other's lives. We truly connected at these holiday events! So i would have to agree with the examples of the past and say they had the right idea about dinner time. I believe today if we would make time to have just one night a week where we sit down together for a dinner, that we would talk more to each other and we would know a lot more about what is happening in the lives of the people we are living with. If you do decide to apply the one dr dre beats headphones night a week rule to your own home, then you must also be prepared for some insight into the lives of the people you call family. You might find out more than you wanted, but at least you would know a little of what is going on in the hearts and minds of your family. So families why not try to arrange one night a week where you get together for dinner, maybe it would not be a dinner at the kitchen table, and it might not be roast beef, but sit down together whether it be in the family room (TV Off ), or around the kitchen counter. Gather round and see what happens. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
